What are the units in which different markets are measured?

Different markets have different units of measurement:

  • Gold, Silver, Palladium, Platinum-US $per troy ounce;
  • Brent Crude Oil, Oil-US $per barrel;
  • Natural gas-US $per one million British thermal units (MMBTU);
  • Shares-currency (GBP, EUR, USD, AUD, CHF, JPY, NOK or SEK per share), depending on the stock exchange;
  • Index-GBP, EUR, USD, AUD, CHF or JPY per contract.
